Pilates at Home

"Paola teaches us at home in a group of 3 and we think she is a fantastic Pilates teacher. Her classes provide a challenging workout but we keep each other motivated and enjoy each lesson. Paola is great at keeping the momentum of the class going and making sure that we work as well as having a bit of a chat whilst we are at it. We all feel the benefits of the class in terms of our core muscles feeling stronger and would recommend small group lessons whole heartedly."

What got you interested in fitness in the first place?

I have always been obsessed with London’s boutique fitness scene – it’s like a playground which is constantly being filled with new toys. The phrase “fall in love with as many things as possible” perfectly sums up my attitude towards fitness.

Who inspires you?

Anyone whose love for what they do can make me love it too. Nicola Adams is my ultimate fitness idol.

Why did you choose to teach at PBB?

PBB classes can be your sanctuary, your chance to shine, and a real pick-me-up for the soul. Coming to a PBB class basically feels Iike coming home.

Where did you study fitness and health?

LDNM Academy.

How do you stay motivated?

I match my work outs to my mood – if I’m stressed, I box. If I need to lift my energy, I spin. Running, yoga and strength training are like therapy sessions to me – mind over matter, muscle over mind!

Which classes do you teach at PBB?

I teach the Barre, Burn, Cardio-Barre and Barre&Bells.
